Caring for wooden furniture

Wood and engineered wood are susceptible to light exposure. To prevent marks or rings from appearing due to potential lightening in sunlight, we advise refraining from placing objects on these surfaces during the initial 6-8 weeks

Cleaning wooden furniture

Simply use a damp cloth (never soaking wet) to clean. Ensure surfaces are dried thoroughly afterward. Both wood and engineered wood are sensitive to liquids, so promptly wipe up any spills to prevent damage. For stain removal, use mild soap and warm water with gentle care.

Caring for fabric furniture

Over time, upholstered furniture may lighten when exposed to direct sunlight, so choose its placement carefully. To maintain the appearance and ensure even wear of seat cushions, remember to regularly rotate them. For foam, feather, or fibre-filled cushions, shaking them frequently will help them maintain their shape.

Cleaning fabric furniture

To address stains, use a very mild detergent like green soap for spot cleaning. Avoid heavy bleach solutions as they are not recommended. For removing hair or debris, use a lint roller or vacuum cleaner.

Caring for Velvet Furniture

If you experience a spill, there’s no need to panic! Due to its dense top layer, velvet doesn’t immediately absorb stains like other fabrics do. You’ll typically have a few seconds to grab something to dab the spill with before it fully absorbs. Here are the steps we recommend for spot cleaning:

Immediately blot the spill with a cloth or paper towel.
If the spill hardens (like dropped food or other contaminants), gently scrape away the hardened substance before proceeding with cleaning.
Dilute mild soap or detergent in approximately 20 parts lukewarm water. Use a white cloth to gently rub the stained area with this cleaning solution.
Rinse the area using a second white cloth dampened with clean lukewarm water. Allow the area to air dry completely.
Once dry, use a very soft brush to gently brush the area in the direction of the nap to restore the surface to its original condition.

Caring for leather furniture

Like all leather products, our leather should ideally be shielded from direct sunlight to prevent discoloration over time. Regular dusting is sufficient to maintain its quality and appearance.

Cleaning Leather furniture

If a spill occurs, blot any liquid with an absorbent cloth. If needed, gently wipe the area with a damp, lukewarm cloth and allow it to air dry naturally. Avoid using solvents, soaps, or any other cleaning agents designed for leather. Additionally, refrain from using a hair dryer on the affected area.
